Who prescribes the UGC NET syllabus?
The University Grants Commission (UGC) prescribes the syllabus for the UGC National Eligibility Test (NET). The UGC is a statutory body established by the Indian Union government in 1956 and is responsible for coordinating and maintaining standards of higher education in India.
